Shop rolls are a quick and convenient product for hand sanding or for use on a lathe after parts have been turned. They are made with aluminum oxide grain on a J-wt. cloth. They are often referred to as “Utility Rolls or Economy Rolls”. Sometime, they are inacurately called “Emery Rolls”, though they are not made with Emery grain.
